The Hong Kong Young Fashion Designer Contest Finalist- Lai Sau Fung, Sharon

The other attentive designer is Sharen, her collection “Minority Motion” is a combination of sport wear and ethnic costume. The bright color and neon color give the sporty elements , and patch works presents ethnic elements. I like the patch work details so much as it is very delicate and gives me a funky feeling. I think Sharen’s collection is very specials since she also has a good choice of colors, red color is a good much with stripes and different fabric patch. The neon color details also highlighted the whole collection.

After the interview….

I am so happy that there is a designer still love ethnic thing in Hong Kong. This is because normally Hong Kong designers like to create something up to date or as we called “Trend”. However, we really need designers with unique style in Hong Kong to create our own trend.
